Cultural Centre

Private and public use in the same building. The two different solids of architectural composition alternate two concepts, that of residence and culture. These elements become detached in the horizontal directions as well as vertical direction. The residence is defined in the first level while the cultural space is located in the second level. The canted wall defines the entrance and accentuates the differentiation of building between the private sector in ground-floor and the public space. This wall sets out of site outline emphasizing the different use of space. Although it consists boundary between private and common, keeps building as one-piece. It doesn’t interrupt the scale or continuity of the building even if it’s  articulated as separate element.
